Painted this lovely one of Claire

over the last few days 

There is a factory in the distance 

and a simple communication station

over there

I have been revisiting some favorite

films from my dusty dvd collection

always being completely engulfed

by the inspiration from the layers of 

textiles, textures and tones

The other night I watched 

Dorthy Parker and the Vicious Circle

over two nights

And then Henry and June

which I never get tired of

others through sheer inability to cross the street .

ghosts of imaginary friends

 these last few months 

especially the weeks 

 and the days 

 have seemed like a collective challenge

and an experiment of how much one 

can endure

through all of this 

that is going on 

being in now 

in a world of uncertainties

for months

has found inspiration in visiting

imaginary friends , ghosts of the past

and memories of others
