hunt for traveling gallery

i have been on the lookout for one of these grand land subs.

it will make for a perfect traveling museum....

on dry oceans and lakes.

and we can set up in some most interesting places.

so-i will look and look.

pioneertown movie

one very hot weekend,

a bunch of friends met

out in the desert

at pioneertown

for a few days -

and we all got rooms at the pioneertown motel- which was an old western movie set- and our little dogs came along also-

fugu, angus and gruff gruff.

this film was shot with my new little super 8 camera-

that james gave to me while we were there!

it was the very first movie i made with it.

and thank you for the lovely editing job james

our home reflects who we are.

or who we wish we could reflect.

on a particular day.

proper way to eat sushi

i have to admit sometimes

i like to make wasabi soup

with my soy sauce

and i dip the rice end into the 

soy sauce

from now on though

i will practice correct

sushi eating and

make sure to smile 

cut out faces

cutting out faces

i happen to like to cut out people's

faces 

out of old photographs i find 

at the flea market.

then they can be anybody 

you want them 

to be.

they can 

even be me...

a bare room

since i have moved back to california,

my house has been

very bare.

things are still in storage.

looking forward to having a nice place

to hang out in and have small picnics in

living room...

my grackle face

and on a rainy day i like to make

grackle pictures.

here i am as a tourist with a grackle face on...

on a swing with lovely knees highs...

and even anjelica huston is holding a grackle 

face up.

the rain rain rain

it has been raining so much the last few days

that i have been staying in and working on things and making things...

got my old sewing machine working and fixed some dresses.

also,

i have been playing around with some plastic cameras and

took some pictures of my cat and dog being bored and stuck inside.

the backyard turns into a lake and the street in the front

turns into a dirty, brown river. cars were underwater down the street and people had to leave their apartments....

and

a tornado hit sunset beach yesterday! it picked up some boats and a

van and threw them back down...

i suppose going for a stroll down the pier will have to

wait another day.

it's closed off.
